We’re told the franchise update that has already been implemented will also be available in the next-gen version at launch, and the one coming in January will be added to both once it is launched. Based on the previews we’ve seen and the graphical improvement I’ve recognized in other games, I expect Madden 21 on next-gen to be visually impressive. The current-gen version looks pretty sweet on a PS5 and Xbox Series X. Madden 21 will likely deliver a jump in visual quality that we’ve seen with NBA 2K21 and other titles. I have both consoles and I can tell you, the videos you see on YouTube, Twitch and elsewhere don’t really do it justice. Next-gen visuals have to be seen in person to completely appreciate the differences.
